New Location!

We’re excited to announce that beginning this Sunday (July 1st), we will begin meeting in our new location at 6711 W. Markham St. We have been overwhelmed by the Lord’s kindness in providing this space for us, and we look forward to what else he might have in store for us in the near future!

Service will still begin at 10:30am. We look forward to seeing you there!

Church Membership at Midtown Baptist

One of the more exciting moments in the life of a church plant is when the plant begins to move toward becoming a fully established church. By God’s grace, that time has arrived at Midtown Baptist! This process is certainly exciting, but there are many things that we must accomplish together. The goal is to be ready to launch as a fully established church on September 16, 2012.

The first step in the process of preparing is to establish covenant membership in this body. During the month of May, we will have a three-week Membership Matters class. The class will be on Sunday mornings, beginning at 9:15. We would ask that everyone who is considering joining Midtown Baptist Church as a covenant member attend this class.

In addition to the Membership Matters class, we will also be using the first two Sundays in May to preach on the Vision and the Mission of Midtown Baptist.

There are undoubtedly many questions regarding membership and the future of our church. And our Membership Matters class is designed to answer those questions, build unity among the body, and prepare us all for the exciting events of this fall! All of that to say, May promises to be an exciting and important month in the history of Midtown Baptist!
